Soft shimmering bronze, delicate pinks and dark eyeshadow form the base of Chanel’s new Indian inspired collection ‘Bombay Express’. The collection has a rich, lavish and opulent feel. The powder named ‘Route Des Indes De Chanel’ takes inspiration from a bronze brocade designed in a collection by Gabrielle Chanel in the 60’s which gives it something really quite special. The collection also contains a polish called ‘Diwali’ taking inspiration of course from the Festival of Lights. It’s pale gold/silver shade is sure, like all other Chanel polishes to have a long waiting list. The lip colour is subtle and has a barely there feel, effective when teaming it with a heavily kohled eye.
The collection with be available in Newcastle Fenwick, House of Fraser Glasgow, Selfridges London and Manchester and Chanel Boutiques from 27th June. We’ll race you there!
