London-born high fashion e-tailer Net-a-porter have turned McQ mania up a notch, by allowing customers to pre-order the autumn 2012 collection two months before it’s release.

Customers will be able to place orders on next season’s McQ collection for one week only, with pieces being delivered two months later.

Net-A-Porter buying director Holli Rogers told The Independent: “As soon as we saw the McQ runway show, we knew our customers would love the collection as much as we did. McQ wasn’t originally planning to sell the collection so it’s wonderful to be able to offer our customers the chance to pre-order a piece of fashion history.”

Kurt Geiger have signed a deal with designer footwear brand Manolo Blahnik to stock and manage the label within their Harrods and Liberty London shoe boutiques.

KG have already helped Blahnik enter London’s famous department store Liberty London, opening their first combined shoe boutique in February, and will launch the designer’s autumn 2012 collection there in July.

They are now looking to incorporate Manolo’s designs into their Harrods shoe boutique, which will be the first time Manolo Blahnik is to be stocked in the Knightsbridge department store. Until now Manolo Blahnik only had one UK store, in London’s Chelsea.

To celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, House of Holland have designed a unique and witty tea towel, which captures the essence of Britain’s excitement.

House of Holland are known for their slogans (remember ‘Do Me Daily Christopher Bailey’?), so it’s no surprise they’ve put their rhyming hands to this special event.

The tea towel is available from tomorrow at houseofholland.co.uk and costs £25. At that price you probably wouldn’t want to use it to wash up – instead try hanging it up in the kitchen for a rather unique conversation starter.

Harrods has swapped its iconic green canopies for ornate, golden frames, showcasing 31 crowns designed exclusively by the world’s leading brands in celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

The crowns fill the Brompton Road store’s window, featuring designs from British and international brands such as Paul Smith,  Mulberry, Jo Malone, Valentino, Bulgari and De Beers. A replica of the Queen’s Coronation satin gown designed by British designer Norman Hartnell is also on display as a tribute to the HRH the Queen.

And if that wasn’t enough, Harrods will broadcast God Save the Queen every Wednesday until June 15 and every hour from 12 – 6pm during Jubilee weekend at the end of the month.
