Simple clean lines started things off at Christopher Kane. Models in white made their way down the catwalk in wide-legged trousers, oversized shirts and bandeau dresses, held together with nuts and bolts reminiscent of a fashionable Frankenstein. Next up came powder-pinks, lemons and mauve creations that, although simple, were feminine and pretty. Fabrics were layered and cut to perfection. Dresses with bow designs in sheer fabrics added to the femininity of the collection. Ruched details, frills and perspex versions of the bows added a touch of fun and the unexpected to the lineup. Daisy Lowe, Hamish Bowles and Anna Wintour on the FROW seemed to approve, too.
