Harrods has swapped its iconic green canopies for ornate, golden frames, showcasing 31 crowns designed exclusively by the world’s leading brands in celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
The crowns fill the Brompton Road store’s window, featuring designs from British and international brands such as Paul Smith, Mulberry, Jo Malone, Valentino, Bulgari and De Beers. A replica of the Queen’s Coronation satin gown designed by British designer Norman Hartnell is also on display as a tribute to the HRH the Queen.
And if that wasn’t enough, Harrods will broadcast God Save the Queen every Wednesday until June 15 and every hour from 12 – 6pm during Jubilee weekend at the end of the month.
