We all know Karl Lagerfeld loves his fluffy white kitten Choupette – she’s so cute it’s impossible not to love her too. He’s now shown the ultimate admiration for his feline friend by allegedly naming a handbag after her.
New York Times journalist Cathy Horyn paid a visit to Chanel‘s Paris HQ yesterday and subsequently tweeted that she had just seen the “Choupette bag“, describing it as “knitted” and “soft”. The bag is rumoured to making its appearance on the runway for spring/summer 2013, and if it’s anything like it’s namesake we’ll be seeing a lot of ladies stroking their handbags in the street next season.
