Kate Middleton, aka the Queen of fashion recycling, has dug out the blue Missoni coat she wore for a trip to Fortnum & Mason in April, to join the real Queen on her Diamond Jubilee celebration trail in Nottingham.

The Duchess of Cambridge, also joined by husband Prince William, reworked her blue look by adding a navy blue headpiece by London-based milliner Rachel Trevor Morgan – the very same one she wore for Irish Guard Armed Forces Day in June last year. No sign of her trusty nude L.K. Bennett court shoes though, but instead Kate opted for a simple pair of patent round toe heels and a quilted clutch bag.

What do you think of Kate’s thrifty recycling?
