London Fashion Week: British designers create Minnie Mouse inspired looks for charity

This season’s London Fashion Week is set to feature a cartoon heroine Minnie Mouse, who’s kitsch style will be celebrated by some of Britain’s top designers.

Giles Deacon, Richard Nicoll, Katie Hillier, Terry de Havilland, Michael van der Ham, Lulu Guinness, Piers Atkinson, Bunney, Husam el Odeh in collaboration with Luke Hersheson, Tatty Devine and Meadham Kirchhoff, will all reveal Minnie inspired looks during their Spring/Summer 2013 shows. Each coveted piece will then be put up for auction following the shows, with proceeds going to the Fashion Arts Foundation.

We can’t wait to see Minnie’s moment on the catwalk, but until then take a look at some of the designers’ sketches below.
