Paul Smith talks London Fashion Week [INTERVIEW]

From his original eponymous shop in Nottingham in 1970, to having over 2,000 global stockists – Paul Smith has long been a major player in the fashion industry not to mention an indispensable part of London Fashion Week. He recently spoke to the Financial Times about his collection and the future of his company. He explains that his 32-look SS13 collection is all about clever use of colour and simplicity in design, taking pieces that will slot effortlessly into an existing wardrobe.

Smith also talks about the brand’s  plans to make a move back to China. Following success in Hong Kong, the mainland  is where he is hoping to succeed next. Although he may be on the way to conquering Asia, he still thinks credits London as being “a goldmine of talent”, and we couldn’t agree more.
