The women of Britain pulled out all the stops yesterday at the Royal Ascot 2012 Ladies’ Day, showcasing some very inventive headwear.
Sticking to the “no fascinator” rule, punters wore hats above and beyond requirements, from a full faux English breakfast to a clever recreation of the London 2012 Olympic torch – clearly, with the Queen in attendance, people were feeling patriotic.
