After unveiling another Burberry Brit store in New York’s Bleecker Street this week, Burberry have now revealed plans to open a store in London’s Covent Garden this April.
The Bleecker Street store sits amongst a quaint mixture of antique and high fashion stores, much like Covent Garden and it’s eclectic mix of shops. Burberry hope to appeal to a younger consumer by having stores in these areas.
A spokesperson for Burberry said: “They both speak to a real youth culture. Both areas have young stores and are vibrant. Covent Garden has skateboard shops and a market.”
The Bleecker Street Brit space was designed by Burberry’s chief creative officer Christopher Bailey, and sells products at the cheaper end of the scale. Burberry Brit clothing and accessories will be sold in the new store, including menswear, womenswear, fragrances, timepieces and eye wear.
