London’s iconic shopping destination Carnaby Street is hosting its annual fashion shopping party tonight.
With a soundtrack provided by The Struts, visitors and ticket holders can expect a 20% discount on over 100 brands, Twitter and Instagram competitions and a treasure hunt hosted by Bolongaro Trevor.
Scouts will be keeping their eyes peeled for style mavens to take part in their Facebook Fashion shoot. They will be hand-picking 100 lucky shoppers who will be treated to a mini Benefit makeover and styling session before being snapped in a pop-up studio at 6 Newburgh Street for the Facebook page.
Angela Buttolph, Grazia’s Editor at Large, will be hosting three free first-come-first-served trend talks on the first floor of Kingly Court, at 6.30, 7.30 and 8.30pm. And she’s not the only member of team Grazia getting involved – the magazine’s Style Hunter Team will be out and about photographing the best street style at the event to be featured on GraziaDaily.co.uk. Those snapped will also be the lucky recipients of a Carnaby goodie bag.
Budding models should keep their eyes open for scouts from Premier, the agency that launched the career of Naomi Campbell.
If you are more in the mood for beauty treats rather than fashion you won’t be disappointed either. Visitors can get a manicure in Pixi for just £10, a complimentary manicure from Cowshed if they spend over £50, Illamasqua will be launching its latest collection and Benefit will be offering makeovers and a beauty trend talk at 6pm.
