It’s official – disco tights are back if Chanel’s haute couture autumn 2012 show is to be believed. Karl Lagerfeld showcased a collection that was soft, girly and glittery in equal measures, combining dusty pink, light grey, nude and accents of black across a selection of elegant looks.
Staying true to the collection’s title ‘New Vintage’, each outfit combined the Chanel classics, such as tweed jackets and conservative length skirts. There were also splashes of modernity, from the glittery bobbles adoring one dress to the toe cap mules seen all over the catwalk last season. Plus, how much do you love Lindsey Wixson as Chanel’s vintage bride?
