And so the moment is finally here – the moment the world gets to lay their eyes on the dress which has been a victim of severe speculation over the last few months – Kate Moss’ wedding dress. The floor-length gown, as confirmed, is custom made John Galliano, which is right up Kate’s ‘hippy-chic’ street, while her new husband opted for a retro powder blue Yves Saint Laurent suit.
Kate’s off-white gown is hand embellished with gold sequins in indian style intricate patterns, with a simple plunging v-neck and a sheer overlay. To compliment her stunning one-of-a-kind dress Kate wore a floral embroidered veil and matching headband, as well as a pair of Manolo Blahnik heels.
Her pack of young bridesmaids wore sweet white chiffon dresses, while the maid-of-honour wore a dusty blue Stella McCartney simple ruffle dress. Stella has helped Kate with more than just the one dress though, as she is the confirmed designer of two dresses which the supermodel will wear when the partying commences tonight, as well as a three-piece ‘going away’ outfit for when the couple disappear tomorrow.
Very chic. Very Kate.
