Marks & Spencer will be the principle sponsor for 2017 Graduate Fashion Week this June for the second year running.
The winning graduate will be awarded with £5,000 and a further £1,000 will be presented to the university of the winner. Marks & Spencer will also host a hub where graduates can visit to apply for graduate career opportunities and get advice on their portfolios.
Marks & Spencer will also host talks on topics including the design lifecycle, launching a collection, and sustainability in fashion, as part of the GFW Talk Live! Studio.
Martyn Roberts, managing and creative director of Graduate Fashion Week said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Marks & Spencer again for 2017. They offer fantastic guidance, advice and opportunities to our graduates and to have them sponsor our top Womenswear Award is very special.”
Other sponsors of the event include Debenhams, Clarks, Asos, Tu at Sainsbury’s, Clarks, Boohoo, and Bonmarché.
The 2017 graduate showcase will take place 4 – 7 June at the Old Truman Brewery in London.
