London Fashion Week favourite Mary Katrantzou has entered a two-season deal with phone company Vodafone, offering customers the chance to attend her shows and even meet the designer herself backstage, all in association with the British Fashion Council.
The Greek-born designer is following in the footsteps of Christopher Kane and Richard Nicoll, who have teamed up with the mobile phone network in the past. Mary’s deal begins this September, and regardless of whether you’re a Vodafone customer or not, this could be good news – during Kane’s collaboration he designed custom black cabs which toured London, while Nicoll created an innovative handbag with a built-in mobile phone charger. What could Katrantzou have in store?
