Matchesfashion.com is set to open its second private shopping “Town House” on Mayfair’s Carlos Place.

The company has leased a 6-floor building at no. 5 Carlos Place, providing 5,000 sq ft of space. The building was previously the showroom for jeweller Solange Azagury-Partridge and neighbours include Nicholas Kirkwood, Christopher Kane, and Roland Mouret.

Matchesfashion.com opened its first Town House in Marylebone in 2008 to host events and personal shopping experience. Products are not held on site but brought on-demand by personal shoppers, depending on the client brief.

Co-owner Tom Owen said about the town house concept: ““It’s for clients who, for whatever reason, don’t want to shop in a store. We use it to engage it with high-value existing customers.”

The company also has 5 more conventional brick-and-mortar stores located in Wimbledon Village, Richmond, Marylebone, and Notting Hill.
