She’s clearly the most stylish girl in the puppet world, so it’s no wonder Miss Piggy has landed herself yet another fashion editorial, this time in November’s issue of American InStyle. As she prepares for the release of new movie ‘The Muppets’, the pink leading lady was styled by the likes of Jason Wu, Giles Deacon and Brian Atwood for her most high-fashion shoot to date.
In images released by WWD Miss Piggy wears a white shift dress by Prabal Gurung, who said: “I didn’t want to dress Miss Piggy in anything that would take away from her bold personality so I went with a simple, classic dress and neutral colour.”
Jason Wu went for his signature feathers, saying: “Her humor, flamboyance and joie de vivre inspired me to design a decadent feathered dress that features her most sensational qualities.” Paired with a pair of chic black strappy heels from Brian Atwood, who said they worked best “to complement her hoofs,” Miss Piggy looks every inch the top fashion model.
She’s clearly become accustomed to the fashion world, passing on her style wisdom to readers by saying: “Style is about expressing your inner self, capturing your personal ethos, and, most importantly, spending someone else’s money.”
