Mr Porter has announced the launch of an exclusive collection designed in collaboration with Balenciaga.
The 34-piece collection has a focus on outerwear and sweaters and includes ready-to-wear, bags, jewellery, and accessories in limited edition colours and prints from the SS18 runway show. Many of the ready-to-wear pieces are embroidered with the new “BB Mode” logo.
The brand also collaborated with Net-A-Porter on a women’s collection, released at the same time. This is the first time Balenciaga has collaborated with a retail partner.
Alison Loehnis, president of Mr Porter and Net-A-Porter said: “This project was a wonderful partnership and a first of its kind with Balenciaga’s campaign creators, Johnny Dufort and Lotta Volkova, photographing and styling our own teams wearing the exclusive collections against the backdrop of our offices. With Johnny’s keen observational eye and Lotta’s signature undone glamour, this campaign represents a true behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of Net-a-porter and Mr Porter through Demna’s Balenciaga lens.”
Exclusive items in the men’s collection range from £95 for a pair of socks to £3,575 for an oversized printed leather biker jacket.
