Victoria Beckham is set to collaborate with Skype to tell the tale of her fashion label.
As a designer, Victoria is no stranger to using social media to share behind-the-scenes snaps of her and her team working on the latest collections and catwalk presentations, but her upcoming collaboration with Skype will go one step further, showing candid footage of the team in the run-up to her next show.
According to Skype, Victoria will team up with the online video calling company to tell the story of her burgeoning label “in a previously unseen way.”
Skype has said that ahead of the brand Beckham’s Autumn/Winter 2014 show in New York next February, “Skype will enable access to key milestones in her business, a behind-the-scenes view of how the company is run, an introduction to the team that Victoria has taken with her from the start, as well as the industry collaborators who have joined her along the way.”
The footage will also serve to “highlight the journey of successful entrepreneur and creative professional Victoria Beckham and her global luxury fashion brand.”
After the chaos of New York Fashion Week has died down, Victoria will sit down for an ‘In Conversation With’ session with a panel made up of members of the public who will be able to submit questions of an business nature.
The teaming up of VB and Skype is part of The Skype Collaboration Project, which aims to highlight how the online calling service enables interaction between technology and creative industries.
