Vivienne Westwood, who has also designed a bag for the initiative, said of the project: “I do believe that because it is such a luxury fabric that its status will increase. People will not want manmade fibres anymore and luxury will be seen in the great traditional, natural, fibres.” Wool Week is annual celebration of Britain’s best loved fabric, and a chance to enjoy and appreciate its versatility.
Other brands set to take part include Smythson, Burberry, Sang A and Quentin McKay.
