Continuing to explore his instinctive appreciation for “impactful clothing”, London based menswear designer Kaushik Velendra invites everyone to become part of a more inclusive, and diverse future with the unveiling of his Autumn / Winter 2023 collection, ‘DRESS CODE’.
Created with a view to instil confidence in clients, and to encourage audiences to cherish all of the special moments life has to offer, the cohesive collection is underpinned by Velendra’s signature strong tailoring, which is this season revitalised to include deep, rich reds to reflect the “opulence and vibrance” of the opera alongside new, statement-making patterns.

Embellished, intricate pieces not only serve to showcase the atelier’s couture craftsmanship, but also highlight the brands progression – most notably the show-stopping, sculpted shoulder pieces which are enhanced with ruby and crystal crowns, that glimmer and glide with the body.
Drawing inspiration from all walks of life, all ethnicities and all genders, garments in the collection can be worn by anybody, further strengthening the brands stance on crafting not just menswear or womenswear, but humanwear.
In-keeping with the Velendra’s ethos of championing inclusivity and embracing diversity, fabrics, silhouettes and techniques continue to pull representation from all over the world, this time rooted in the elegance and strength of ballet.
Once again igniting and solidifying the link between fashion and the arts, the Kaushik Velendra ‘DRESS CODE’ collection was unveiled during London Fashion Week at the prestigious Royal Opera House, where models and dancers took to the runway to showcase the entire capsule, accompanied by the sounds of Frankmusik & Berenice.
