Mulberry has teamed up with London-based Lebanese designer Mira Mikati to create an exclusive Lunar New Year collection that encapsulates the “joyous spirit” of the Year of the Dragon.
Designed specifically to showcase Mikati’s optimistic lens and cheerful iconography, the colourful capsule features bags, ready-to-wear and accessories.
Additionally a smiling dragon animation punctuates the collection, and shows up in the form a textual print, bag straps, 3D keyring and a ready-to-wear motif.
Pieces are also animated with a kaleidoscope of bright tassels, braided straps and fringing.
Showcased as part of the collaboration is a new Mulberry bag family: the Clovelly Tote and Mini Tote.
Crafted from Refined Flat Calf Leather, the stripped-back, slouchy silhouette will be available in colourways and animations from the collaboration.
Other highlights include the luxury brand’s signature Antony messenger, alongside keyrings, small leather goods, ready-to-wear styles and water bottles.
The collaboration will be available in stores and online from 10th January 2024. Prices start from £75.
