1. Beyond Bread

Opened in January 2015, Fitzrovia’s Beyond Bread is your go-to spot for gluten-free goodness in West London. The bakery is 100% gluten-free and offers numerous diet-friendly treats.

These include gourmet sandwiches with different fillings, scones, danishes, muffins, cakes, and quiches. As for bread, you’ll find all the favourites, including pumpernickel, sourdough, ciabatta, brioche, and baguette.

2. The Free From Bakehouse

If you’re a cake enthusiast, The Free From Bakehouse might be what you need. Aside from being gluten-free, this cake shop caters to other food intolerances. You’ll find many dairy-free, egg-free, and sugar-free baked goods. 

Some of its most tempting delights include brownies, red velvet cupcakes, salted caramel chocolate cake, and flapjacks.

With its vintage teacups and gluten-free products, Artisan Bakery is the perfect spot for afternoon tea. 

Formerly known as Romeo’s, this sweet café and bakery in Islington offers delicious scones and cakes. There’s also a nice selection of different breads to take away, including sun-dried tomato, olive & rosemary, sourdough, and caramelised onion.

5. Suzzle

Manna Dew is a Mediterranean-inspired café and patisserie that serves freshly-made soups, salads, and sandwiches. Not only that, but they have a delicious selection of cakes and pastries.

The best part? All these treats are gluten-free and made with natural sweeteners. They also offer a bespoke cake delivery service, which includes wedding cakes.

7. Elvira’s Secret Pantry

Elvira’s Secret Pantry is an artisan Italian bakery in South London serving gluten-free, dairy-free, and yeast-free treats. 

The goods on offer include cakes, tarts, sweet and savoury pies, bread, and pasta. Their products are stocked at various shops and cafes throughout the capital. However, you can visit their stall at Crystal Palace Food Market every other Saturday for a true taste adventure!

8. Selfridges Gluten-Free Bakery

Catering to a broader audience, the food hall within Selfridges added a gluten-free shop in 2013. This bakery combines the best of both worlds—sweet delicacies and savoury dishes.

10. Mr Prempy’s
