British Fashion Council designers including Richard Quinn, Alighieri, Nabil Nayal, Fyodor Golan, Holly Fulton and Osman have each created their own take on the traditional Christmas stocking, which will be sold in Covent Garden, with all proceeds going to the Crisis charity.
The stockings will be filled with the best Christmas gifts from Covent Garden worth over £1,000. Shoppers have the chance to win the stocking of their choice by winning a raffle ticket for £10. Unfilled stockings can also be bought directly for £250.
Each designer has taken inspiration from their collections and other sources to create one-of-a-kind stockings embellished with details including freshwater pearls, hand-embroidery, feathers, and ruffles. Each design is totally sustainable and is made from offcuts and surplus materials from the designers’ studios.
