Functional outdoors clothing brand Gramicci has announced a collab with London-based design studio Greater Goods.
The collection uses damaged, surplus, or faulty Gramicci products and upcycles them into a one-of-a-kind, seven-piece range that will be auctioned to raise funds for a charity that offers disadvantaged young people the opportunity to transform their futures through climbing.
Drawing inspiration from military surplus products, the collection is taking Gramicci green and olive-toned materials and enhancing them through various methods such as de-stressing, embroidery, and laser etching.
The seven-piece collection features a smock, backpack, cross-body bag, trousers, shorts, bucket hat, and jacket.
The collection is accompanied by a zine which showcases Greater Goods’ meticulous start-to-finish documentation process made up of imagery, sketches, and other workings which provide valuable context and authenticity to these one-off showpieces.
Charity partner Urban Uprising operates in five UK cities and often works with
young people from some of the most deprived communities. Their unique climbing
programme gives 8-18-year-olds who face various challenges in life the chance to develop their physical, social, and personal strengths with the support and encouragement of highly-trained positive coaches.

Thursday 14th November. The silent auction will end two weeks after and buyers will be contacted shortly after.
