London-based coffee company Grind unveils a new exclusive collection in partnership with visual artist Shantell Martin, known for her unique line drawings. This limited edition range features Martin’s artwork on Grind coffee tins, reusable glass coffee cups, and notebooks made from recycled coffee cups.
The collection, embodying the spirit of creative freedom, is available only at Grind. It draws on Martin’s philosophy of “draw on everything”, reflected in her black-and-white artwork that represents her personal journey and multicultural identity. Martin’s art has been showcased at prestigious venues like the MoMA and the Brooklyn Museum, and she has collaborated with figures such as Kendrick Lamar and the New York City Ballet.
Available both as a set and individually, the special edition tin is complimentary with Grind’s subscription orders. Customers can select their preferred coffee form, be it compostable pods, ground, or whole bean, to fill the tin.
Shantell Martin comments on her London roots and the joy of bringing this project to fruition with Grind, adding a special touch to daily morning rituals.
David Abrahamovitch, Grind’s Founder & CEO, highlights the synergy between Grind and Martin’s East London origins and the celebration of creativity and cultural diversity in their collaboration. He expresses pride in partnering with Martin, whose work resonates with the city’s vibrant cultural tapestry.
