Football legends Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have been revealed as the faces of Louis Vuitton’s latest campaign, ‘Victory is a State of Mind’.
Shot by veteran American photographer Annie Leibovitz, and launched to coincide with the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the two players are seen looking pensive, as they engage in a game of chess using a LV Damier attaché case as their board.
The campaign is focused on the French fashion houses “longstanding reputation for its travel trunk craftsmanship”.
Taking to Instagram to share the news, LV posted a campaign image with the caption: “In addition to a long tradition of crafting trunks for the world’s most coveted sporting trophies, the Maison celebrates two of the most talented football players today.”
