Calvin Klein have found a new take on traditional window displays, by adding sound. The brand’s christmas windows will feature a sound installation that can be heard from speakers in store as well as headphone stations.
The original song, called “Holiday (DOPE XXXmas)”, will get everyone into the Christmas spirit with its seasonal lyrics and “rhythmic beats inspired by a ‘Holiday Party'”, says WWD.
The brand has also teamed up with music recognition app ‘Shazam’, allowing users to tag the song when in store and receive a customised offer, such as an in-store promotion or complimentary download.
The sound installations will appear in Calvin Klein windows worldwide in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
