Continuing the theme of championing British brands here at LDNfashion, this week we are taking a look at Musto, founded in Essex 1964. Today, Musto is a brand that places performance and technology at the heart of everything it does. It developed and grown from providing high performance sailing gear to, in recent years, a more casual lifestyle range.
We’ve been taking a peek at the Musto’s Autumn/Winter 2013 Lookbook and as expected from a performance brand, they have still retained the original ethos and the collection features fantastically unique jackets with layers of technology and smart fabrics in shades perfect for Autumn – we are particular fans of the Rust. But what may also surprise you about the collection are the great pieces of textured knitwear, chambray and plaid shirts as well as knitted accessories that make Musto a real competitor with other lifestyle brands.
