Schuh to open three new shops in London

Footwear retailer founded in 1981, already has more than 90 stores in the UK including one in the prime location of London’s Oxford Street – which will be the destination of two of the new London stores. The third London store is planned to open in Canary Wharf.

In 2011, in a £125m deal, Schuh was taken over by US firm, Genesco resulting in workers receiving large payouts to thank them for their contributions towards the brand’s success. Since then the company, which stocks brands such as Converse, Nike and New Balance, has gone from strength to strength, continually increasing its fleet of stores.
