Pip Howeson launched her eponymous label in 2015 and works from her studio and home in North London. An experienced tailor, Pip’s signature country classics are created with the utmost skill. Her heart is dedicated to the rejuvenation of the British textile industries and a commitment to protecting and promoting practices of artisanal British design. Favourite neighbourhood:
Canonbury N1 – a little heaven in central London – A Georgian square, a tower and a communal garden – It’s like a fairy tale!
Favourite place for brunch:
5 Hertford Street on the roof, it’s a great space to enjoy good food no matter the weather.
Best coffee in London:
‘The Place’ N1 small independent Coffee shop and lucky for me it’s around the corner. The venue is full of script writers and they do the best peanut butter and cheese cake.

V&A – Chinese rooms.
Tell us a secret:
House boats and river taxis, the river taxi is a cheap way to have a river tour, you can take one from Putney and they offer you complimentary breakfast! I used to live on a house boat on the Thames which is the largest open space in London! Amazing at night but terrifying when ducks perch on the roof.
Favourite place to shop:
The Button Queen, Soane Britain and Grays Antiques.
Favourite place to find inspiration:
I love walking and looking at the trees in the parks in London Hampstead in the Manning with my dog. It’s also a peaceful in the morning and a great place to relax and sketch new designs for my new collections.
Favourite park:
Highbury Fields.
Favourite food market:
Chapel market N1, I love the lobsters there on Saturday.
Your sanctuary in the city:
Anywhere by the River.
What inspires you?
Nature, Georgian houses and beautiful architecture.
This season I’m loving:
This crazy weather even though its one day sun and the next day rain, I love the wonderful unpredictability of it.
