1. Camden Market — London’s Alternative Fashion Home
Camden is still the beating heart of London’s alternative fashion scene. It also remains one of the best fashion markets in London for sheer range. Start at the Dr. Martens emporium in the Stables Market — classic styles, limited editions, and the famous Boot Room are all here. Next, follow the sound of pounding techno to Cyberdog. It has dressed ravers and space cadets since 1994. Now it also runs a Rave Bar on the Buck Street rooftop.

2. Spitalfields Saturday Style Market
Every Saturday, Spitalfields becomes one of the best fashion markets in London for independent talent. Up to 88 designers set up under the Victorian canopy. As a result, the edit changes week to week. You’ll find original clothing, handcrafted accessories, and considered pieces that don’t exist anywhere else.
In addition, Old Spitalfields Market runs right next door, seven days a week. It mixes vintage clothing and jewellery with contemporary independent fashion. Together, the two make for a full East London morning. Furthermore, Spitalfields is currently riding a wave: in June 2026, it partnered with SXSW London for a next-generation designer showcase. East London’s most fashion-forward weekly fixture is only getting stronger.

3. Portobello Green Market
Portobello Road is famous for antiques. However, the stretch under the Westway at Portobello Green is dedicated to fashion. Friday is the best day for vintage clothing. Traders lay out carefully sourced rails alongside one-off pieces from local designers. Saturday, by contrast, shifts to independent designer fashion. Sunday is flea market mode.
The road rewards a slow wander throughout. Look for novelty print dresses at Loud & Proud London and occasion headwear at Paris Hats. 4. Sunday UpMarket, Brick Lane
The Sunday UpMarket at the Old Truman Brewery is one of the best reasons to get out of bed on a Sunday. Over 200 stalls fill the site. Vintage finds, handcrafted pieces from up-and-coming designers, and rails of pre-loved fashion all share the same space.
Also on site: the Brick Lane Vintage Market. It’s the UK’s largest underground vintage market. Open seven days a week, it covers over 100 shops — everything from 1920s glamour to 90s and Y2K streetwear. Between the two, you’ve got serious range. Finally, don’t leave without eating. The international street food here is exceptional. Half the crowd, frankly, comes for the food alone.

5. Cabbages & Frocks, Marylebone
For high-end vintage, Cabbages & Frocks is the one. Held in the grounds of St Marylebone Parish Church every Saturday afternoon, it’s a small, curated market. However, small doesn’t mean limited. Expect high-end vintage clothing, artisan jewellery, and independent designers at the considered end of the price spectrum.
The vibe is relaxed and genuinely luxurious — closer to a private shopping event than a jumble sale. In addition, Marylebone itself is now one of London’s best fashion destinations. Independent boutiques and pre-loved designer stores line Marylebone Lane. So build a full afternoon around it. Start at the market, then explore the street.
