Loewe has unveiled its new collaboration with Swiss performance running brand, On.
Serving as On’s first-ever joint venture with a major fashion house, the limited-edition capsule collection of shoes and apparel is described as “luxury heritage craft meets Swiss technology” and as reimagining “established craft skills” with a focus on sustainability and an emphasis on applying the “handmade to technical pieces”.
Designed for modern adventure, performance shoes for men and women are available in five colourways, including Gradient Khaki, Gradient Grey, Gradient Blue, Gradient Orange and Space Blue, and feature On’s trademark technologies – the “Missiongrip” rubber outsole, and the “Speedboard” mid-sole hidden plate, as well as a recycled polyester upper, hand-pressed marbled outsoles, brass eyelets and a matte or iridescent mudguard.
Six ready-to-wear pieces for women, and seven for men, make up the apparel portion of the collection, with each garment built with On’s performance properties, including weather-adaptable running pants, moisture-wicking waterproof anorak and temperature-regulating T-shirts, as well as a unisex customisable insulation three-layer parka.
