Maya Jama has been unveiled as the global brand ambassador for Rimmel London, following in the footsteps of British models Adwoa Aboah and Kate Moss.
The Bristol born radio and TV presenter broke the news on Instagram, posting: “SCREAMING! So excited to announce that I am the new global brand ambassador for Rimmel London. I grew up with this brand and have dreamed about saying the iconic ‘London look’ line on TV one day and now it’s happening I don’t even have the words. 16 year old me who moved to London from Bristol with a bag of dreams would not have believed you if you said 12 years later I would be a part of such a legendary London staple, London is my home and now you can catch me living the London Look.”
In an official statement shared by the Coty owned brand, the Love Island host said: “I’m incredibly proud to be following in the footsteps of the amazing icons who’ve brilliantly represented Rimmel London, such as Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne, and Adwoa Aboah… it’s like a dream come true.”
With Global Senior Vice-President, Sarah Al Shohaib, adding: “Maya Jama perfectly embodies Rimmel London’s philosophy of championing self-expression and being whoever you want to be.
