World-renowned auctioneer Bonhams is hosting the first Designer Handbags and Fashion sale on 28th February – the first of the year. Hoping to build your collection? The sale will feature ready-to-wear and handbags from coveted houses including Chanel, Hermès, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton and Gucci.
A four-piece limited edition set of rare and collectible Chanel bags leads the sale. The ‘success story set’ features Chanel’s most iconic handbags in micro mini sizes, and is presented in an equally iconic quilted lambskin trunk – offered with an estimate of £15,000-20,000. The set is ‘rare to come to auction’, led by creative director Virginie Viard’s acclaimed second Metiers d’Art Collection, 2020 – a collective created by the house with a gleaming vision of preserving the inimitable expertise and craftsmanship associated with French luxury.

For Hermès connoisseurs, the sale also features a sought-after collection of Hermès bags from the 1960s and mid-1970s, including a black box leather Sac Egée, brown box leather Sac Escale and gold Courchevel leather Taco envelope clutch.
The Designer Handbags and Fashion sale will be hosted in Knightsbridge, London on 28 February 2024.
