British menswear retailer Charles Tyrwhitt announces a four-year partnership with England Rugby, becoming their official formalwear partner from September 2020.
Tyrwhitt will collaborate with the national team to tailor an exclusive collection of bespoke formalwear to dress both the men’s and women’s senior squads, through to the Under 20s/18s teams, as well as team management and Rugby Football Union (RFU) staff.
“It’s great to share the news that Charles Tyrwhitt will be the official formalwear partner to England Rugby.” Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer for England Rugby Simon Massie-Taylor says in a statement announcing news of the duo’s partnership. “I have no doubt that with their commitment to use the very best materials to produce attire that is built to last, along with their incredible attention to detail.”
Ensuring that all players from the England senior squad will always be dressed in perfect made-to-measure formalwear outfits during every official team engagement, Charles Tyrwhitt tailors have produced a line that truly adopts he British brands signature style, with a clear emphasis on creating clean, classic styles and silhouettes.
Notable highlights from the custom-made range include an exquisite merino wool suit, with burgundy lining, which paired with a Charles Tyrwhitt iconic white twill shirt and an Italian wool silk pocket square emblazoned with the English Rose.
Aside from the formal collection, the multi-channel men’s clothing retailer will also create timeless casual wear and gifting licensed collections featuring the Rose, as well as a limited-edition heritage line to celebrate the RFU’s 150th Anniversary in 2021.
