Apple TV have announced details of the upcoming release of a brand-new documentary, The Supermodels.
Directed by two-time Academy Award winner Barbara Kopple (Harlan County USA, American Dream, Bearing Witness) and produced by Brian Brazer along with Ron Howard’s Imagine Documentaries, the unparalleled event docuseries will explore the remarkable and iconic careers of Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington during the late 1980s through the 1990s.
With unprecedented access to each of its subjects, the show promises to be no holds barred look at what life was really like for the quartet as they became four of the most famous and well-dressed women in the world – their combined star power and prestige so extraordinary, they conquered catwalks and ad campaigns around the globe like no other model had ever quite managed before.
