Ever wanted to really travel in style? Well now’s your chance. Scottish born designer Christopher Kane has worked his magic on a series of London cabs in association with Vodafone, by creating exclusive designs for the usually black cabs.
The cab design is inspired by his galactic Resort 2011 collection, worn famously by Samantha Cameron during London Fashion Week. Not only do they look the part, but each cab comes with a mobile charging unit so passengers can charge their phone on the go and even pay their fare by text.
Speaking to Vogue about the project, Kane said: “The black cab is such an iconic part of London’s landscape. I am honoured to have the opportunity to put my own distinctive stamp on it. Looking forward to seeing one on the street and hailing it down!”
