London 2012 Paralympics: Kate Middleton’s Opening Ceremony Outfit

You can always trust Kate Middleton to fly the flag for fashion, and her Paralympics Opening Ceremony outfit definitely didn’t disappoint. The Duchess wore a pale-gold coat dress in a lace-like brocade (one of AW12’s biggest trends) by Danish label Day Birger et Mikkelsen, with her favourite LK Bennett neutral pumps and a metallic glitter clutch by Wilbur & Gussie for a note of glamour. Tumbles of glossy brunette curls and satin-finish tights provided the perfect polished finish that has become K-Mid’s signature.
