Bristol’s juxtaposition of urban living and proximity to nature demands a versatile wardrobe that effortlessly transitions between city and countryside settings. At the heart of the Peregrine collection are its well-established British wool Hudson Aran jumpers and waffle crew styles. In the autumn of 2022, Peregrine announced its commitment to sourcing 100% of its British wool from regeneratively farmed flocks for this capsule collection by 2027. The brand is now in its second year of transitioning, with the pieces now incorporating 33% regeneratively sourced wool. The remainder is sourced through a longstanding ethical British Wool supply chain that ensures fair compensation for farmers.
The autumn-winter palette features failsafe neutrals, including navy, oatmeal, soft winter whites, and light and dark greys. These are complemented by muted brights such as deep terracotta ‘Orange,’ peacock blue ‘Teal,’ and burnt ochre ‘Honey.’ Peregrine’s expertise extends beyond knitwear to beautifully crafted outerwear. Standout pieces for AW23 include the hip-length Wool Lined Teddy Coat, inspired by vintage military ‘Deck’ styles, available in mustard and navy and crafted from Antique waxed cotton.
