Rita Ora has announced the launch of her own haircare brand, Typebea.
Created in partnership with Australian businesswoman Anna Lahey, products featured in the range include serums, shine treatments, shampoo and conditioner, as well as specialised treatments aimed at repairing damaged hair.
Sharing her excitement on social media, the ‘Praising You’ singer wrote to her 16.1million followers on Instagram: “I’m so excited to finally announce a huge passion of mine, TYPEBEA, high-performance for all hair types that I’ve created with Anna Lahey.”
The relationship we have with our hair is so personal. For me it’s a huge part of my identity, creativity and confidence. Throughout my career I’ve had nearly every hair colour and style. My hair has been bleached, I’ve had extensions, I’ve cut it short. But now I can say my hair is the healthiest it’s ever been. I can’t wait to share this with you.”
In a separate video posted on the brands official social media channels, Rita elaborated: “From my experience with my hair and my career and everything that I’ve been through, I really wanted to help create a range and a product that feels like we’re finally prioritising our hair in our everyday life.”
Typebea is set to launch April 18th, 2024.
News of the brands existence comes after the recent launch of Ora’s latest collection with Primark.
Inspired by key Spring-Summer trends, pieces are designed to elevate a soft colour palette of pastels with playful floral prints, lace, and distressed denim.
60% of the clothing ranges contains recycled, and more sustainable materials.
Sharing her thoughts on the partnership, Rita says: “I’m so excited to launch the next stage of my journey with Primark. This time, we’re ready for Spring, with pieces that are fun and floral, including casual and dressy options perfect for day-to-night looks or a special occasion.”
“This collection is designed to be worn again and again and really reflect the season. Denim has been a been a style staple throughout our collections, and it’s always been a personal favourite of mine. I love the playful floral prints we’ve added this time around, and I can’t wait to see how these pieces will inspire chic, new looks.”
