Singer and member of SEVENTEEN, Vernon, has been announced as the inaugural global ambassador for fashion brand KENZO.
In a statement revealing the appointment of the K-POP star, the luxury French/Japanese fashion house expressed their excitement, stating, “KENZO is thrilled to introduce Vernon as its first global ambassador. Vernon is joining forces with KENZO, a brand closely associated with the international entertainment scene, led by Artistic Director Nigo.”
The 25-year-old artist shared his sentiments, saying, “Being chosen as KENZO’s Global Ambassador is a great honor and privilege. I am eager to explore the exciting possibilities that this partnership will bring and I look forward to showcasing a different aspect of myself to fans worldwide.”
Additionally, KENZO confirmed that the rapper, known for his song “Darl+ing,” will be making his debut appearance as brand ambassador at the Passerelle Debilly during Paris Fashion Week, attending the SS24 KENZO runway show.
KENZO, founded and established in 1970 by the late Kenzō Takada, a renowned Japanese fashion designer, is widely acclaimed for its unique blend of Asian and European aesthetics. The brand operates as part of the prestigious LVMH conglomerate.
