Topshop team up with Izzy Lane on coat collection

To mark the start of Wool Week, fashion retail giant Topshop has teamed up with ethical designer Izzy Lane on a collection of limited edition coats. From 5th September shoppers will be able to get their hands on three premium coats, made of ethically produced wool from Izzy’s own flock of sheep at her Yorkshire sanctuary.

The coats come in classic shapes and textures, putting a twist on some quintessentially British styles.  The old faithful mac has been given a feminine update, with a flared skirt, fur stole and co-ordinating belt, while a boxy collarless coat comes with a faux leather trim and modern chest pocket detail.

Speaking out about the ethical collaboration, Izzy Lane said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be working in collaboration with Topshop who are so supportive of the causes about which I am passionate – the revival and support of the British textile industry, the revival of wool, one of our most sustainable resources, and of course the championing of animal welfare issues.”

Each coat comes in sizes 6-16 and prices range from £195-£250.
