British designer Stella McCartney has launched an app for the Apple iPad.
The application allows users to view her latest collections, video interviews and read news about the brand. Users also have access to backstage footage from her summer 2011 show in Paris, as well as performance from American hip-hop band N*E*R*D, featuring front man and producer Pharrell Williams.
The app also includes a feature called ‘Stella’s Diary’, which shows collaged Polaroid pictures of her Spring 2011 collection, taken by artist Jeremy Kost.Other exclusives include an interview with Danish tennis player, Caroline Wozniacki, the only player to wear McCartney’s tennis line designed for Adidas.
McCartney has also launched a iPad case in-line with the app, made of faux black leather with a chain trim. The case is available to buy online and in-store, and the app is free to download, available through the Apple App Store.
