Hawes & Curtis has two boutiques on Jermyn Street – one focuses on officewear for both men and women, while the other offers formalwear for men with an in-store tailoring service. The brand was founded in 1913 and has been granted several royal warrants over the years. Hawes & Curtis are known for inventing the backless evening waistcoat and the Windsor knot tie knot.

New & Lingwood offers traditional classic menswear with a modern twist. The range includes shirts, nightwear, and footwear available as ready-to-wear and bespoke orders. Roderick Charles has a small boutique on Jermyn Street offering tailoring, outerwear, knitwear, accessories, and a bespoke suit service. The style of the brand is based on traditional styling with countryside aesthetic and fabrics are milled in the UK including Scottish tweeds and Yorkshire worsteds.

4. Turnbull & Asser
Turnbull & Asser specializes in shirts and combines classic British style with Italian tailoring. Shirts are made from Egyptian cotton and rare West Indian Sea Island cotton with mother-of-pearl buttons and a range of collar and cuff options. 5. Harvie & Hudson
Harvie & Hudson was established in 1949 and creates heritage tailored shirts and suits for the modern man. The brand became popular for its brightly coloured flamboyant shirts in the ‘60s and remains one of the most popular shirtmakers on Jermyn Street today. As well as suiting and accessories, a selection of casual and outerwear is also available.

6. Emma Willis
Emma Willis specializes in bespoke luxury shirts, made in England from Swiss and Italian cottons. Ready to wear shirts in a range of cottons, linens, silks, and cashmerello are also available, as well as accessories, night wear, and tailored suits and smoking jackets.

7. Thomas Pink
Formalwear outfitter Thomas Pink carries business, casual, and formal shirts for men in a selection of fits and styles. As well as the shirts, ties, and accessories for men, there’s also a small collection of tailoring and business wear for women. The company is part of the Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy luxury group.

8. Charles Tyrwhitt
Shirtmaker Charles Tyrwhitt has operated out of Jermyn Street since 1986, when founder Nick Wheeler (the brand comes from his middle names) decided he could make a better shirt than anyone else. The range has since expanded to separates, suits, shoes, a casual collection, knitwear, and accessories and there are stores in several locations in the US as well as the original in London.

9. T.M. Lewin
T.M. Lewin is one of Jermyn Street’s oldest gentlemen’s outfitters, having been founded in 1898. The company specializes in hand-finished men’s shirts, wool suits, silk ties, and women’s workwear. T.M. Lewin is widely credited as being the inventor of the ‘coat-shirt’ – a prototype of the modern shirt with buttons down the front.
