London menswear label Percival is teaming up with Ford for a second time. The new collection celebrates the Ford GT40, the car behind one of motorsport’s most famous wins.
Marking 60 Years Since Le Mans
The collection marks 60 years since Ford’s win at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans. That year, Ford beat Ferrari for the first time at the race. Specifically, Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon drove the No. 2 GT40 across the line alongside two other GT40s. As a result, the three-car finish became one of the most iconic images in racing history.
Naturally, Percival’s new range draws on that moment. It mixes workwear staples with vintage motorsport details, and in doing so, captures the look and feel of 1960s racing. However, Percival has made every piece in limited numbers, so the pieces below won’t be around for long.
The Gardner Knitted Zip Cardigan

First up, one of Percival’s bestsellers gets the Ford treatment. Percival spins it from 100% cotton, then finishes it with contrast tipping, checker detail pockets and Ford x Percival embroidery, making it the standout piece of the collection. Because Percival has made fewer than 200, and the original Ford x Percival cardigan sold out fast, this one likely won’t hang around for long either.
GT40 Embroidered Canvas Jacket

Next, a navy canvas jacket features woven, motorsport-inspired badges. Similarly, Percival has capped it at under 200 units, which makes it one of the rarer pieces in the drop.
GT40 Ringer Vest

For warmer weather, Percival cuts this vest from organic cotton jersey and adds contrast trims and a front print, giving an easy way to bring the GT40 detailing into a summer wardrobe. Again, Percival is making only 200.
The Miles Garage Shirt

Meanwhile, Percival names this beige short-sleeve shirt after Le Mans legend Ken Miles and makes it from breathable cotton-hemp. It also comes with embroidered Ford and Percival badges and twin chest pockets, so it suits everyday wear rather than the track.
T-Shirts and Accessories
Finally, long and short sleeve t-shirts round out the collection, featuring archival graphics inspired by the GT40 and the 1966 Le Mans victory. Alongside these sit embroidered caps, a tote bag and socks, and together, they offer the easiest entry point into the collaboration.
Where to Buy It
You can shop the Ford x Percival GT40 collection now, both online and in Percival’s three London stores: Marshall Street in Soho, Neal Street in Seven Dials, and Brushfield Street in Old Spitalfields Market. Given the limited run, though, we expect pieces to sell out quickly.
