Canada Goose’s new collection is here, and of course, it had to make a statement with a new campaign shot by legend Annie Leibovitz.
Featuring Sheila Atim, Sophie Darlington and Kimberly Newell, the new Live In The Open campaign for AW23 is bringing its community on a journey of female empowerment and individuality to the rugged landscapes of New Mexico.
“I loved these women – and their compelling stories” said Leibovitz. “We were all bewitched by the power of the New Mexico landscape. Bringing them together in such an incredible, natural environment, was very inspiring.”
The Live in the Open campaign spotlights three trailblazing women from the world of cinematography, performance and sport: actor, musician, writer and composer Sheila Atim, wildlife filmmaker and cinematographer Sophie Darlington and Olympic ice hockey goalie Kimberly Newell.
Wearing outerwear, knitwear, footwear and accessories from the luxury performance brand, the new campaign celebrates women. Shot in New Mexico, a landscape that inspired Georgia O’Keefe – one of the most prolific artists and trailblazers in modern history, the new campaign images highlight its subjects’ personal styles by styling Canada Goose products with the three muses’ personal items.
The new collection was crafted with luxurious, soft fabrics and features tonal branding and minimal streamlined silhouettes.
Canada Goose is best-known as the brand to keep you warm, and this season is no different. Adding design details to its products, this season’s colours are inspired by nature, including Desert Sand, Limestone and Sagebrush alongside classic black, navy and grey.
