Erdem, universally adored for his use of florals, has launched a capsule collection for luxury online fashion website net-a-porter.com. Drawing influence from the brand’s spring/summer 2011 show, the exclusive 7-piece range includes blouses, a skirt, shift dresses and biker jacket.
Each piece is printed with bright and bold blossoms, in a colour palette of blues, poppy-red and yellow.
Describing the collection to Vogue, Erdem explained: “This collection for Net-A-Porter is exclusive, it’s playful and relaxed, it has the energy of the spring/summer 2011 show, but more focused on day dresses. It features enlarged painted florals on summery cottons – it’s all about fresh, young pieces! Now where is the sun?”
