Fortnum & Mason to open store at London’s St Pancras station

Whenever we’re near Piccadilly, its near impossible to resist popping into Fortnum & Mason, the heritage department store loved for its loose leaf tea and quintessentially British appeal.

The brand, which is over 300 years old, is capitalising on the footfall at London St Pancras International Station (home to the Eurostar and visited by 35 million people per year) by opening a 200-square feet store in the former ticket office of the station.

Anticipated to open later this year, the store will offer an edit of what Fortnums is best known for, including an at-table tea service and takeaway options for rail passengers traveling to Paris and beyond. The move is said to have created 25 new jobs.
