In celebration of their 50th anniversary, Mulberry are to relaunch a new and improved version of their much loved Alexa bag.
First launched back in 2010, the iconic satchel-style handbag was initially inspired by Alexa Chung’s carefree confidence, and soon became the most sought-after ‘it’ bag of the decade, it’s signature silhouette to this day still one of the British brands most desired pieces.

Made with leather from gold standard, environmentally accredited tanneries and crafted at the Mulberry’s carbon neutral UK factories, to reflect the companies commitment to responsible innovation, the Alexa 2.0 with its new sophisticated finish and laid-back satchel shape, epitomises a modern-day, sustainable approach to luxury.
Available in a range of colours, from tranquil, earthy neutrals (Charcoal, Chestnut, Chalk), to festive neon shades (Neon Pink and Neon Yellow) and key hues of the signature Mulberry palette (Mulberry Green, Deep Amber and Black) the new Alexa also comes in a trio of sizes, its classic silhouette complemented by youthful Mini and bold Oversized styles.

In recognition of its cult status and impeccable craftsmanship, an original Alexa bag – from Alexa Chung’s own private collection – is to feature in the V&A’s upcoming exhibition Bags: Inside Out, sponsored by Mulberry, a curation that explores the unique cultural status of bags and their influence in fashion.
